Welcome to the Hlavačka hiking route! This circular trail offers a 3.39-kilometer adventure with an elevation gain of 174 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the picturesque landscape, surrounded by nature's beauty. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that add to the charm of the hike.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a stunning waterfall just a short distance away. As you continue, you'll pass by the peak of Hlavačka and the climbing spot of Hlavačka-Kostoly. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the memorial of Alojz Babic from 1941 and enjoy the panoramic views at the viewpoint of Hlavačka.
Further along, you'll come across cave entrances like Sedačky pod previsom and Rakytina, adding a sense of wonder to your journey. Stay hydrated by visiting the springs scattered throughout the trail, and don't miss the historical boundary stones and rock formations at various points.
As you reach the midway point, you'll encounter the cave entrance of Jánošíkova jama and the viewpoints of Konská skala and Na Kostoloch. These natural wonders provide a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings before continuing on your loop back to the starting point.
