Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, hikers will soon come across the Jaga-Alm restaurant just 0.01 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing on the trail. Along the way, at a distance of 5.86 kilometers, a shelter provides a place to rest and refuel.
Further along the trail, at 4.71 kilometers, the Sonnkogel Alm alpine hut offers a cozy accommodation option for those looking to extend their hike into an overnight adventure. As you push through the challenging terrain, be sure to take a break at the Salersbachköpfl and Schrambachkopf peaks, located at 5.75 kilometers and 4.71 kilometers respectively, although they are slightly off the main trail.
