Welcome to the hiking route to Cima delle Forcelle! This challenging and extremely difficult 8.737-kilometer trail offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including peaks and natural landmarks.
The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you begin your journey, you will come across SP76 Ponte sul rio Bianco, a small bridge over the river offering a picturesque spot to take in the scenery. Further along the trail, you will encounter a spring where you can replenish your water supply, and a shelter called Bivacco C.A.I. Gorizia, providing a possible rest stop.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Capanna Re di Sassonia - Guido Brunner, a wilderness hut offering accommodation for those looking to stay overnight in the area. As you continue onwards, Forcella del Vallone, a natural saddle, will be in sight, adding to the beauty of the landscape.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Cima delle Forcelle, a peak that marks the destination of your hike. Along the way, you may also come across various other peaks such as Cima del Vallone, Cima Piccola della Scala, and Cima Grande della Scala, each offering unique viewpoints of the surroundings.
