As you start your journey, you'll come across the archaeological site of Redoute de Bentarte. Approximately 1.18 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the ancient boundary stone known as Mugarrien 205. zenbakia. Further along the trail at 0.21 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Mugarrien 204. zenbakia, followed by Mugarrien 203. zenbakia at 0.61 kilometers, and Mugarrien 202. zenbakia at 0.82 kilometers.
As you make your way, you'll reach the natural formation known as Arnoztegiko lepoa at just 0.01 kilometers from the start. The information point of Arnoztegi will provide insights into the surroundings at the beginning of the trail. Additionally, you'll pass by Col Arnostéguy parking area, where you can park your vehicle before starting the hike.
Around 1.39 kilometers from the start, you'll spot a natural water source at a distance of 11.21 meters from the trail. Continuing on, at 1.45 kilometers, you'll find Bentarteko lepoa saddle, situated right on the trail. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the peak of Txangoa at 1.99 kilometers and Menditxipi at 3.36 kilometers into the hike.
As you head back, you can take a detour to visit Fondo cabaña Iturriapurregi Lepoa archaeological site and Túmulo Bentarteko Lepoa, both off the trail at 3.11 kilometers and 1.56 kilometers from the start, respectively. Finally, Bidarraiko lepoa saddle at 0.85 kilometers and Txangoaendi peak at 0.82 kilometers are great spots to admire the surrounding natural beauty.
