This hiking route in the Orion area offers a moderate level of difficulty, covering a distance of approximately 5.022 kilometers with an elevation gain of 206 meters. The total duration for this out-and-back trail is estimated to be around 1 hour and 40 minutes.

As you start your hike, you will find a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. From there, you will walk for about 2.45 kilometers before reaching the first water source. This is a great spot to rest and refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at approximately 2.51 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water source, providing a refreshing break along the way.

Around 0.92 kilometers into the trail, you will reach the Oriongo lepoa saddle, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. As you trek further, at 1.02 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the archaeological site known as Dolmen Ibiaga, adding a touch of history to your journey.

Additionally, at 0.91 kilometers from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. Not too far from there, at 0.92 kilometers, you will find the Oriongo iturria drinking water source, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike. At around 2.2 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Azalegiko lepoa saddle before heading back on the same trail.
