This challenging hiking route in the Auztarri area offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 9.721 kilometers and an elevation gain of 106 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you'll embark on your journey through the picturesque landscape. About 3.54 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a water feature, providing a refreshing pit stop for hikers. Further along, at approximately 4.86 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the peak of Auztarri, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you continue on the trail, be sure to stop by the information points located at 1.01 kilometers and at the beginning of the trail for interesting insights into the area's history and natural features. Additionally, you'll pass by archaeological sites such as Túmulo Arburua and Dolmen Auztarri, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
