This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Aitza. The 6.347-kilometer trail offers a moderate challenge with an elevation gain of 358 meters, making it perfect for hikers looking for a bit of a workout.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across the parking area, conveniently located at the start of the trail. Around 0.17 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the historic Larraineta etxeko garaia / Hòrreo casa Larrañeta monument, followed closely by the Estankero etxeko garaia / Hòrreo casa Estanquero monument. These landmarks provide a glimpse into the area's rich history.

Continuing on, at around 0.13 kilometers from the start, you'll see the Etxegarai etxeko garaia / Hòrreo casa Etxegaray monument. Further along the trail, approximately 1.96 kilometers in, you'll reach the Arburuko begiratokia viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.

After a challenging ascent, at about 3.17 kilometers from the start, you'll arrive at the Aitza peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the area. For the adventurous spirits, a cave entrance known as Urtziloko haitzuloa / Cueva de Urtziloa can be found around 1.44 kilometers from the starting point.
