Welcome to the hiking route to Le Grand Bénare! This extremely difficult 54.487-kilometer out-and-back trail offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers.

The trail starts at an elevation gain of 4535.0 meters and will take you approximately 23 hours and 57 minutes to complete. As you embark on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and comfortable hiking gear.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:
- At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a parking area with wheelchair access.
- Midway through the hike, you'll come across the majestic Le Grand Bénare peak and Maïdo viewpoint.
- At 9.36 kilometers into the trail, you'll discover the beautiful Cascade des Trois Roches waterfall.
- On the way back, stop by Chez Judex alpine hut for a rest and some local cuisine.
