Starting off at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area at the very beginning which will be convenient for those arriving by car. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest. Approximately 3.66 kilometers into the hike, you will find a stunning viewpoint providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Further along the trail, at around 5.81 kilometers, there is a fast-food option available at Snack le Marla (Chez Jimmy) where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel for the journey ahead. As you continue, you will come across a cafe called Tisanerie des 3 Salazes at 1.31 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a hot beverage.

At 8.91 kilometers from the start, you will reach Gîte Gravina Martial, an alpine hut where you can rest for the night if you choose to stay overnight. This marks the turnaround point of the out-and-back route, allowing you to retrace your steps and head back towards the starting point.
