Welcome to the hiking route to the Ibones de Remuñe in the stunning area of Benasque. This 6.649 km out-and-back trail offers a moderate challenge with a total elevation gain of 467.0 meters.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Parking Llanos del Hospital, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. You can top up your water bottles here before heading out. Further along the trail, at about 0.45 km from the start, you will encounter the Romanesque Chapel (12th century) and the Ancient Hospital of Benasque (12th century), which are historic ruins worth exploring.

Continuing on, you will pass by the Burial Site from the Bronze Age, adding a touch of historical significance to your hike. As you make your way towards the Ibones de Remuñe, you will catch a glimpse of the Corona de Remuñe peak at a distance of 1.02 km from the start.

It's advisable to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy hiking shoes as the trail can be rocky and steep at times. The entire route is estimated to take about 2 hours and 42 minutes to complete, so be sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
