This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning views and varied terrain. The trail is 4.828 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 250 meters, making it a moderately difficult hike.
Starting at the Parking du Plan d'amont, you'll begin your journey through the lush surroundings. About 0.32 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Plan d'Aval, which offers a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area.
Continuing on, at around 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you'll find La pierre du diable and a nearby Bar restaurant, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on your way.
As you approach the midpoint of the trail at 2.41 kilometers, you'll reach the Refuge plan-sec, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
On the way back, at 1.96 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a water source, providing a refreshing stop to replenish your supplies.
