This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical landmarks. The route is a moderate level difficulty, covering a distance of 4.414 kilometers with an elevation gain of 286 meters, and a duration of approximately 1 hour and 44 minutes.

Starting at Parking du Plan d'amont, you will begin your journey with a short walk of 0.32 kilometers to reach the trailhead. Along the way, you can stop at Plan d'Aval for some information about the area. As you continue on the trail, you will come across a picnic site at 0.29 kilometers where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at 1.28 kilometers, you will find the Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite, a wayside cross with historical significance. Further ahead, at 1.75 kilometers, you will reach the Tour de la Randolière, another information point to learn more about the area.

At 2.21 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at Refuge de la Fournache, an alpine hut where you can rest and soak in the breathtaking views. Nearby, you will also find the ruins of a historic site and a drinking water source to refill your water bottle.
