This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Refuge de la Fournache. The trail is 4.414 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 286 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps to return to the starting point.
Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Parking du Plan d'amont, where you can park your vehicle before starting your hike. As you make your way up the trail, you will come across Plan d'Aval, a historic site with informational displays.
About midway through the route, you will reach Refuge de la Fournache, an alpine hut where you can stop for a rest and enjoy the stunning views. Nearby, you will also find a picnic site and a drinking water source to replenish your supplies.
