This extremely difficult 14.066 km circular hiking route starts at a parking area at the trailhead. The trail will take you through challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 503.0 meters. Before starting the hike, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather forecast for the day.

As you begin the hike, you will pass by a drinking water fountain ("Fonte") just 0.02 km from the start. This is a good spot to refill your water bottle. Shortly after, at 2.76 km into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint that offers stunning vistas of the surrounding area.

At the 2.98 km mark, you will come across the "Aquila Verde" alpine hut, where you can take a rest and enjoy a meal if it's open. Continuing on, at 3.79 km into the hike, you will encounter another viewpoint with breathtaking views.

Midway through the hike, at 5.44 km, you will find a peak viewpoint that may require a short detour from the main trail. Take some time to appreciate the panoramic scenery before moving on.

Finally, at 6.89 km, you will reach the destination of the hike, the "Rifugio Catusa (Chiuso)" alpine hut. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before heading back to the trailhead.
