This extremely difficult 11.6 km out-and-back hiking route in the Schlern region offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly ascends through the picturesque alpine landscape. Along the way, you'll find amenities such as the Schlernhaus - Rifugio Bolzano alpine hut and the Schlernbödele Hütte - Rifugio Malghetta Sciliar, where you can rest and refuel.

As you continue on the route, you'll come across the Tomleg picnic site, a perfect spot to take in the stunning views and enjoy a meal. Information points are also scattered along the trail, providing insightful tidbits about the area's history and natural features.

With an elevation gain of 1321 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
