This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and plenty of interesting points of interest to discover along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, with the destination being the Rifugio Re Alberto Primo - Gartlhütte.
The total distance of the hike is approximately 1.969 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 397 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level due to the length and elevation changes.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Rifugio Preuss at just 0.06 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can grab a bite to eat or have a rest. Further along the trail at 0.04 kilometers, you will find the Rifugio Vajolet, an alpine hut with accommodation options available.
About midway through the hike, at 0.98 kilometers from the start, there is a water point available to refill your supplies. Additionally, there are several information points along the way that provide valuable insights into the surroundings.
Near the end of the hike, at 0.97 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gartlhütte - Rifugio Re Alberto, another alpine hut where you can relax and enjoy the scenic views. Just a bit further at 0.92 kilometers, you'll come across the Laurinspass - Passo di Laurino, a saddle point in the area.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various peaks such as Torre Piaz, Winklerturm - Torre Winkler, Delagoturm - Torre Delago, and Stabelerturm - Torre Stabeler, offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
