Welcome to the hiking route on Strada de Moncion!

This super easy trail spans approximately 0.6 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for beginners or a leisurely stroll. The route is an out-and-back trail, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead, making it convenient for visitors to park their vehicles. From there, you will encounter various points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the trail, just 0.3 kilometers in, you will find a water source for a refreshing stop. Around 0.05 kilometers from the start, there is Rifugio Gardeccia, a restaurant and alpine hut, where you can enjoy a meal or rest.

Further along the hike, at around 0.28 kilometers in, you will reach Ex Rifugio Catinaccio, another alpine hut for a potential break. For those interested in local information, you will find informational points at 0.3 kilometers and at various points along the trail.
