Welcome to the hiking route on Strada de Moncion! This route is perfect for beginners as it is super easy with no elevation gain.

Starting at the parking lot, you will follow the trail which is well-marked with informative signs along the way. About 0.05 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Rifugio Gardeccia, a mountain hut where you can rest and grab a bite to eat. Continuing on, at the 0.07 kilometer mark, you will find Rifugio Stella Alpina, another alpine hut offering a cozy atmosphere.

About 0.3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a water source where you can refill your water bottles. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail for you to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you hike further, at the 0.28 kilometer mark, you will come across Ex Rifugio Catinaccio, another charming mountain hut offering refreshments. Along the way, you will also find informative signs providing insight into the area's history and natural features.

At the turn-around point, you can visit Baita Enrosadira, a restaurant where you can fuel up before making your way back to the starting point.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection. Check the weather forecast before heading out and wear appropriate footwear for the trail. Enjoy your hike on Strada de Moncion!
