This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Amman, Jordan. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.153 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Umayyad Market place "Souk" and the Umayyad Residential Units within the first half kilometer. Continuing on, you will encounter the Byzantine church, the Roman Temenos, and the Ayyubid Watch Tower.

Further along the trail, at around 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will find the Cistern Birka and the Umayyad monumental gateway. As you approach the midway point of the trail, you will see the Umayyad Mosque and the remains of the Byzantine church.

Towards the end of the route, approximately at 0.58 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gate of Ammon and the Umayyad Residential Units. Here you can also explore the Umayyad Complex, the Bath "Hammam," and the Umayyad Audience Hall and Throne Chamber.

Throughout the hike, there are several viewpoints where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Be sure to bring an ample water supply, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this historical and picturesque journey in Amman.
