This hiking trail takes you through the historical area of تل القلعة in عمان. The route is considered super easy with a distance of 0.7 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Umayyad parking area right at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle. Further along, at about 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a cafe for any last-minute refreshments.

As you continue your journey, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Roman Temenos, the Ayyubid Watch Tower, the Umayyad Market place "Souk", the Byzantine church, and the Residential Units. These historical ruins and archaeological sites will provide a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

At around 0.35 kilometers from the start, you will reach تل القلعة, a prominent attraction in the area. The site offers beautiful views and a serene atmosphere for a peaceful break.

Throughout the hike, you will also find benches for resting and viewpoints to admire the surroundings. It is recommended to bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this leisurely stroll through history.
