This hiking route takes you through the historical area of Amman, Jordan. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for all skill levels. The total distance of the route is approximately 0.595 kilometers with no elevation gain.
As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the parking area. Further along, you will encounter the Roman Temenos, Ayyubid Watch Tower, and the ruins of the Byzantine church. These historical sites offer a glimpse into the city's rich past.
Midway through the hike, you will have the opportunity to visit the Umayyad Mosque and the Umayyad Market place "Souk". These ancient relics provide insight into the cultural heritage of the region.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the highlight of the hike, the Tel Al Qala Archaeological Site. This site offers stunning views and a chance to explore the ancient ruins.
