This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Lago Branchino in the scenic area. The trail is rated as difficult, with a distance of 7.152 kilometers and an elevation gain of 531 meters. It is recommended to set aside about 3 hours for this hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, which is conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. About 1 kilometer into the hike, there is a shelter where you can take a break and rest if needed. Along the way, at about 2.35 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your water bottle.
Midway through the hike, at around 3.35 kilometers from the start, you will reach Passo del Branchino, a saddle point offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Just beyond that, at 3.36 kilometers, there is an information point to learn more about the area.
Continuing on, at 3.58 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at Lago Branchino, a stunning lake where you can take in the natural beauty and maybe have a picnic at the nearby picnic site located right at the start of the trail.
