This hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area around Le Janus. The trail is 10.365 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 688 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the forecast before heading out.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Fort du Janus, a historic castle located 5.18 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at 0.08 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your bottle.

Midway through the hike, at 2.32 kilometers from the start, you can take a break and enjoy a meal at the Restaurant d’Altitude “Les Anges.” For a panoramic view, venture 4.85 kilometers from the start to reach the viewpoint overlooking the area.

Towards the end of the trail, at 5.18 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Le Janus, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Another noteworthy point is the Sommet de Château Jouan, situated 5.04 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
