This hiking route is set in a beautiful area with a distance of 13.593 kilometers and an elevation gain of 990 meters, making it an extremely difficult trail that will challenge even experienced hikers. The estimated duration for this hike is around 5 hours and 37 minutes, so be prepared for a long and strenuous journey.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on an out-and-back trail towards the destination point, Malh deth Chuc. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.
At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Guardader deth Portinhon viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue onwards, you will reach the Monument al Tour de France, an impressive artwork commemorating the famous cycling race.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Còth de Fontfreda saddle, providing a brief respite before the final push towards Malh deth Chuc. Just before reaching the destination, you will pass by the Penha des Clòts de Coma peak, offering a glimpse of the rugged terrain that awaits.
