This hiking route will take you through the beautiful mountainous area surrounding Lac de Melo and Lac de Capitello. The trail starts at a convenient parking area, and as you begin your hike, you'll pass by Bergerie de Grotelle and Bergerie de Melo where you can stop for some refreshments.

The trail then continues towards Bocca alle Porte, a stunning saddle that offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you hike further, you'll come across Brèche de Capitello, another impressive saddle along the route.

Along the way, you'll also encounter several peaks, including Pointe des Sept Lacs and Punta Alle Porte, as well as a beautiful waterfall and natural springs where you can rest and refill your water bottles.

The total distance of this out-and-back route is 9.484 kilometers with an elevation gain of 842 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers.
