The GR20 trail is an extremely difficult 14.616-kilometer out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 1260 meters, taking an estimated 6 hours and 32 minutes to complete. This challenging hike is located in a scenic area surrounded by natural beauty.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by the Bergerie de Grotelle, a bar located just 0.09 kilometers from the start, where they can grab a quick snack or drink before continuing on. As you make your way along the path, you'll encounter the Lac de Goria, a picturesque water feature just 3.75 kilometers from the start, offering a serene spot to rest and take in the views.

Midway through the hike, at around 7.31 kilometers from the start, hikers will come across a water source to refill their bottles before continuing towards the Bocca d'Acqua Ciarnente, an information point located 7.24 kilometers from the start that provides valuable insights into the surrounding area.

Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 2.66 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Col de Chiostru, a saddle point offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape. Finally, as you head back towards the trailhead, be sure to stop by the Bergerie de Melo, a bar located 0.95 kilometers from the start, to refuel and recharge before completing the hike.

This challenging route requires proper preparation, including bringing an ample water supply and checking the weather forecast before setting out.
