Starting at the parking area, hikers will make their way towards Bergerie de Grotelle, a bar located 0.09 kilometers from the start, where they can refuel before continuing on. Along the way, hikers will pass by the stunning Lac de Melo, located 2.2 kilometers from the start, and Lac de Capitello, located 3.25 kilometers from the start. These picturesque lakes offer a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.
As the hike progresses, hikers will encounter Brèche de Capitello, a saddle located 3.91 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
