This extremely difficult hiking route spans a distance of 17.752 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1160 meters, taking approximately 7 hours to complete. The trail starts at an area surrounded by stunning natural beauty in Corse.
As you embark on this challenging journey, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across "Chez Caesar," a cozy restaurant where you can fuel up before your adventure. Nearby, there is a convenient parking area for hikers.
As you continue on the trail, approximately 3.13 kilometers from the start, you will find "Funtana Bianca," a refreshing spring where you can rest and rehydrate. Further along the route, at a distance of 5.9 kilometers from the starting point, you will reach "Source d'Alzo," another picturesque spring providing a tranquil spot to relax.
Midway through the hike, about 6.17 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the "Abri forestier d'Alzu," a wilderness hut offering a rustic retreat amidst nature. Additionally, at 8.7 kilometers into the hike, there is a shelter for hikers to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
