Starting your journey at the parking area near Bergerie de Grotelle, you will first pass by Lac de Melo at around 2.2 kilometers from the start. As you make your way towards Lac de Capitello at 3.25 kilometers, you'll be mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters and surrounding mountains.

Along the route, you'll encounter various points of interest such as Bocca alle Porte at 4.56 kilometers and Brèche de Capitello at 3.91 kilometers, both natural saddles offering panoramic views of the rugged landscape. The trail also passes by Pointe des Sept Lacs and Punta Alle Porte, two peaks at around 4.75 kilometers from the start, providing a challenging but rewarding ascent for hikers.
