This hiking route takes you through the stunning natural beauty of Zehentner Stange. With a distance of 14.719 kilometers and an elevation gain of 937 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure you are well-prepared before embarking on this adventure.

Starting at Talschluss parking area, you will begin your journey into the wilderness. Just 5.3 kilometers from the start, you will come across a beautiful water feature, offering a serene spot to rest and recharge.

As you continue on, at around 4.52 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter another lovely water spot. Take a moment to soak in the peaceful surroundings and appreciate the wonders of nature.

One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the Stoffenscharte saddle, located 6.45 kilometers from the start. This iconic landmark provides breathtaking panoramic views and serves as a great spot for photos and a well-deserved break.

Further along the trail, at approximately 7.36 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the Zehentner Stange peak. This is the pinnacle of your journey, offering unparalleled vistas and a sense of accomplishment.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Steffelalm restaurant, located 0.43 kilometers from the start, for some delicious sustenance to refuel your body.
