This extremely difficult 17.7-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the Bürglhütte destination, starting from a picturesque area with ruins spotted at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way through the challenging terrain, you'll pass by the stunning Sintersbachscharte saddle at 7.22 kilometers and the Rosswegscharte saddle at 6.51 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the natural landscape.
Along the trail, you'll also encounter the Rescheskogel peak, located 6.93 kilometers from the start. The Bürglhütte alpine hut at 8.85 kilometers offers a cozy spot to rest and refuel before heading back.
