This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Westgipfelhütte. The trail covers a distance of approximately 9.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 994 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 45 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Speicherteich Gerstreit, a natural water feature located just over 1 kilometer from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at around 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will find Bergstadl, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel.

Continuing on, at about 4.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach Schattberg West, a peak offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, you can stop by Xandl Stadl, a restaurant situated right by the trail for a well-deserved rest.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various facilities such as benches for a quick rest. It's important to bring an ample water supply, as well as to check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging hike.
