This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning alpine landscapes. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of approximately 1.994 kilometers and an elevation gain of 188.0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Mittelberg parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by a lovely picnic site, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings. There is also a saddle point nearby, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

About 1 kilometer into the hike, you will reach the Grubenberghütte alpine hut, where you can take a rest and maybe even grab a bite to eat. The hut offers a cozy atmosphere and is a great spot to refuel before continuing your hike.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the drinking water point located around 0.18 kilometers from the start, to stay hydrated. Additionally, if you're up for a challenge, you can venture further to reach the peak located about 0.91 kilometers from the start.
