This extremely difficult 14.051 km circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area around Schafberg. The trail starts at Jaun and takes approximately 6 hours and 17 minutes to complete. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Dorfbrunnen drinking water point, located just 0.16 km from the start. Further along the trail, at 0.28 km from the start, you will find another drinking water point.

Midway through the hike, at 3.39 km from the start, you will reach Obere Euschels alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. Continuing on, at 4.91 km from the start, there is an information point for you to learn more about the area.

At 5.41 km from the start, you will encounter another peak called Ritzlialp. Don't forget to capture the beautiful landscapes around you. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Cascade de Jaun waterfall located 0.06 km from the start.

Towards the end of the trail, at 6.77 km from the start, you will reach the peak of Schafberg, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Finally, at 7.02 km from the start, you will pass by Restaurant de la Cascade where you can refuel and relax after a challenging hike.
