This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rocche del Manuà. The 11.676-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 244 meters and is estimated to take about 3 hours and 18 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will soon come across the Bormida di Mallare, a picturesque water spot just 0.16 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by several other water features, including the Bric del Cornato peak at 4.58 kilometers into the hike. Be sure to fill up your water bottles at the springs along the way, especially at the Sorgente del Manuà located at 5.23 kilometers into the trail.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 5.4 kilometers, you will reach the Rocche del Manuà viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the scenery before continuing on. As you make your way back towards the starting point, you may come across the ruins at 5.22 kilometers and the Paolo Ponzo memorial at 0.42 kilometers from the start.
