This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Amperspitze peak, covering a distance of 17.938 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1547 meters. The hike is estimated to take around 8 hours and 1 minute to complete, so be prepared for a full day of challenging trekking.
The trail starts in a picturesque area with a beautiful Fischteich water feature nearby, just 88 meters from the beginning of the route. As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by a convenient parking area only 3.9 meters away from the trailhead, making it easy to access.
Around 0.22 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks while surrounded by nature. Further along the trail, at approximately 8.22 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Schawisköpfl peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After pushing through the challenging terrain, you'll finally reach the Amperspitze peak at around 8.97 kilometers from the beginning. This stunning vantage point rewards hikers with panoramic views that make the effort worthwhile.
