This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Donner Peak. The trail starts at the Donner Peak Trailhead, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest.

About midway through the hike, you'll reach Emigrant Trail Truckee, where you can learn about the history of the area. Further along, at a distance of 2.15 kilometers from the start, you'll find a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue on, at around 2.78 kilometers from the start, you'll come across another viewpoint, followed by a viewpoint at 1.67 kilometers from the start. Finally, at 3.01 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the summit of Donner Peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas.

With a distance of 6.024 kilometers and an elevation gain of 270 meters, this hike is of moderate difficulty.
