This hiking route takes you through a challenging yet rewarding trail in a beautiful area. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 14.424 kilometers and an elevation gain of 414 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest. About 3.8 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area. Further along, at around 4.16 kilometers from the start, there is another parking area. At 4.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach Snowshed North Face, a popular climbing spot.
Midway through the hike, at 7.21 kilometers from the start, you will reach Beaver Pond, a serene water spot perfect for a rest and enjoying the view. As you continue on, at 3.86 kilometers from the start, you will find McGlashan Point, offering a breathtaking viewpoint of the surroundings.
Towards the end of the hike, about 4.34 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a beautiful water spot known as Donner Lake. Additionally, at 4.32 kilometers from the start, you will find Petroglyphs, adding a historical touch to your hike.
It is important to note that this route is quite challenging due to its length and elevation gain. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
