This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape surrounding Lago di Sasso. With a total distance of 12.419 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1043 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the historic ruins of Sóste di Todeschìin just 0.6 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at 2.89 kilometers, you will encounter Laghetto degli Asini, a picturesque water feature perfect for a rest stop.

Around the 4.78 kilometer mark, you will reach Rifugio Santa Rita, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Continuing on, at 6.24 kilometers, you will find yourself at Lago di Sasso, a beautiful lake surrounded by nature.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by various points of interest such as Böc dól Rat saddle, Ristoro Malga Artino restaurant, and several historic ruins including Sóste di Rolàt and Baita dei Rolàt.
