This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.466-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 863 meters. The trail starts at a parking area and winds through breathtaking alpine scenery.

Along the way, you'll pass by the Stein-Alm - Malga Sasso alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some local hospitality about 2.18 kilometers from the start. Further along at 5.65 kilometers, you'll come across a natural water source for refilling your bottles.

As you continue on, you'll encounter ruins of the historic ex Caserma Guardia di Finanza "Malga Sasso" at 2.36 kilometers and a picturesque waterfall at 0.69 kilometers. The trail leads to the Fradersteller peak at 6.73 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this challenging route will take over 5 hours to complete. Check the weather forecast before heading out, and be prepared for a strenuous trek with steep inclines and rocky terrain.

After reaching the Fradersteller peak, you can retrace your steps back to the starting point, making this an out-and-back hike. Enjoy the beauty of the alpine landscape and the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering this demanding trail.
