This hiking route to Hammerspitze is located in a beautiful area with stunning mountain views. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 14.219 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1296 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Padasterjochhaus, a restaurant and alpine hut located 5.64 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great place to grab a meal or rest before continuing your adventure.

About 1.08 kilometers into the hike, you will find a waterfall, a picturesque attraction that's a bit off the trail but worth the short detour. Further along the path, at 2.42 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles.

Midway through the hike, at 7.11 kilometers from the start, you will reach Hammerspitze, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a perfect spot to take in the scenery and capture some memorable photos.

On your way back, at 3.18 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source where you can replenish your supplies. Remember to bring plenty of water, as this challenging hike will require staying hydrated.
