Located in a picturesque area, this hiking route offers a moderate challenge with a distance of 6.4 kilometers and an elevation gain of 277 meters. The trail will take you through beautiful natural surroundings, starting at the parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Gasthof Waldesruh restaurant just 0.05 kilometers from the start, where you can enjoy a meal or refreshments before continuing. Along the way, you will pass by the Seekapelle chapel and various information points that provide insight into the history and landmarks of the area.

At 1.64 kilometers from the start, you will find the Obernberger See, a tranquil lake that offers a peaceful spot to rest and take in the scenery. Further along the trail, at 3.2 kilometers, the Steiner Alm alpine hut awaits, offering a cozy place to relax and enjoy a break.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter benches for resting and wayside crosses that add to the cultural and historical richness of the route. As you make your way back, you can stop at the ehem. GH Obernbergsee restaurant for a final treat before reaching the parking area.
