This moderate 5.764-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the picturesque Kriegeralpe area. The trail offers an elevation gain of 270 meters and takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will pass by benches and a fountain at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across the Hotel Salome, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further along the route, you will find a viewpoint with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, there is a water fountain where you can refill your water bottle. After this point, you will reach the Kriegeralpe, a charming alpine hut where you can rest and take in the beautiful scenery. The Kriegeralpe also has a restaurant serving delicious meals for hikers.
