This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Anciennes mines d'Arre. The route is 15.357 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1448 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across P4 Parking Anglas at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before starting the hike. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as water sources, ruins, and shelters. Keep an eye out for the Cabane de la Coste de Goua, a historic shelter located 1.95 kilometers from the start of the trail.
As you continue on, you will pass by Cascade d'Uzious, a beautiful waterfall located 3.86 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to admire the natural beauty of the area before pushing forward. Further along the trail, you will reach Pic d'Anglas, a peak located 5.56 kilometers from the start. The views from this point are truly breathtaking and worth the effort to reach.
For a quick break, you can stop at the Hourquette d'Arre saddle, located 6.11 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding landscapes before heading back.
