This challenging hiking route takes you through the picturesque countryside, offering stunning views and a rewarding outdoor experience. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 6.679 kilometers and an elevation gain of 734 meters, making it a difficult route suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across the parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, at about 2.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cromlechs de la Cabane de Chérue, an archaeological site that provides a glimpse into the region's history.

Further ahead, at approximately 2.96 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Petite Mare du Nord, a small water body perfect for a rest and some refreshing moments. Continuing on, at 3.13 kilometers from the start, you will find the Petite Mare Rouge, another water feature adding to the scenic beauty of the trail.

Around the 3.32 kilometers mark, you will come across the Mare Verte, followed by the Cabane de Chérue shelter at 3.34 kilometers, offering a cozy spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
