This extremely difficult 12.2 km out-and-back hiking route takes you to the picturesque Schermsteinalm area, offering stunning views and a challenging hike. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly leads you to the first point of interest, the Wiesinger Schihütte pub (5.04 km from the start). As you continue on, you'll come across the Alpbühelalm alpine hut (3.44 km from the start), providing a great resting spot.
Along the way, you'll find benches and drinking water stations for your convenience. Be sure to visit the Burgaukopf peak (1.78 km from the start) for breathtaking vistas.
