Welcome to the Spieljoch hiking route!
Located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes, this hike offers a challenging but rewarding experience for seasoned hikers.
You will start your journey at the base of the trail, where you can find parking at Rofanseilbahn. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you can visit Laklü's Salettl, a cozy pub where you can grab a quick drink or snack before starting your adventure.
Further along the trail, you will pass by the Erfurter Hütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on.
For those interested in taking a detour, the Gschöllkopf peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
As you near the end of the hike, you will reach the Spieljoch peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the landscape below.
Throughout the hike, you will also find benches and picnic sites where you can rest and enjoy the scenery.
With a total distance of 11.176 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1181 meters, this hike is classified as difficult. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
