This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Kaunertaler Gletscherstraße. The route is an out-and-back type, totaling 3.493 kilometers with an elevation gain of 189.0 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Gepatschhaus, an alpine hut where hikers can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The hut is located just 0.04 kilometers from the start of the trail.

As you continue on the trail, approximately 1.75 kilometers from the start, you will come across a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to capture some memorable photos of your hike.

About midway through the route, at a distance of 0.33 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the local area and its natural surroundings.

Before starting your hike, it is recommended to park your vehicle at the designated parking area located right at the trailhead, making it convenient for you to access the start of the route.
