This extremely difficult 17.4-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Renkfälle area. Prepare for a challenging adventure with an elevation gain of 1442 meters that will test your endurance and skills.

Starting from the parking area at just 0.01 kilometers from the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Renkfälle. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter a water feature at the 7.23-kilometer mark, providing a serene spot to rest and refill your water supply.

Around 8.16 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Rifenkarscharte saddle, offering a brief respite before continuing towards the peak at the 8.54-kilometer mark. Take in the breathtaking views from the peak before retracing your steps back to the starting point.

Along the way, you will find another water source at the 8.7-kilometer mark, perfect for rehydrating and refreshing yourself. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike as the challenging terrain and distance will require ample water intake.
