Welcome to the Königsweg hiking route!

The Königsweg trail is a moderate 5.892-kilometer out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 272 meters, making it a great option for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.

Starting at Hinterbrand, you will embark on your journey through the beautiful landscape of the area. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest.

Approximately 1.2 kilometers from the start, you will find a picturesque waterfall at the beginning of your hike, offering a refreshing sight and a perfect spot to take a break. Further along the trail, at around 1.36 kilometers, you will come across a bench where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you continue on, at about 1.54 kilometers, you will reach the Dr.-Hugo-Beck-Haus, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel for the journey ahead.

Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.32 kilometers, there is another informational point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Towards the end of the route, at approximately 2.95 kilometers, you will reach a stunning viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it the perfect place to pause and take in the beauty of the area.
