The trail starts at the picturesque Vorderschlumsee, which you will reach after hiking approximately 3.69 kilometers. The route takes you through stunning natural landscapes, with opportunities to refill your water supply at the spring "beim kalten Wasser" around the 2.08 kilometer mark. As you continue on your journey, you'll come across the breathtaking Bluntau Wasserfall at 1.31 kilometers from the start.
For sustenance along the way, the Gasthof Bärenwirt restaurant is conveniently located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. You can also take a break at the Bärenwirt parking area for some rest and relaxation.
Midway through your adventure, at around 7.85 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Tristkopf. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you head back towards the starting point, you'll pass by the Hochtor saddle at 7.36 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. There are also benches and viewpoints scattered along the route, offering perfect resting spots and opportunities to take in the beauty of the landscape.
