As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Dießbachstausee, a picturesque water reservoir located just 5.74 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will come across the Ingolstädter Haus, an alpine hut nestled 11.41 kilometers into the hike, providing a perfect spot for a rest.
Further along the trail, approximately 1.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter for a brief respite before tackling the challenging terrain ahead. Around the midway point, at 9.27 kilometers, you will reach the Abz. Wimbachscharte, offering valuable information about the surroundings.
